So for those that aren't aware, I enjoy playing otome (japanese dating sims). Some of them have especially enjoyable stories, and the one I'm probably biggest into right now is "Shall We Date?: Oz+" which you can play on Facebook or download to your phone via Google Play. It's free to play, but it has some content you have to pay for.

Anyway, it's a Wizard of Oz themed game where Dorothy has come back to the land of Oz to celebrate her birthday. It's mostly cute and light hearted, but the last two routes they've released have started getting darker than previous routes. Though it's not really all that dark even still, though definitely sad and emotional if you get attached to the characters [like me].

The two in this picture are a couple of my favorite characters: Solomon the Wizard of the South [in red] and Norton the Wizard of the North [in blue violet]. Norton pretty much betrays everyone in all the routes to varying degrees because he's the well-meaning antagonist [still an adorable fuck that I love, though, ugh he's precious]. In Solomon's main story route it's probably the most heart breaking betrayal because Solomon and Norton are best friends [and I dare say husbandos XD].

All magic comes with a price, even in Oz. The cost is significant enough to take a wizard/witch's life if used/destroyed/manipulated. Solomon's entire life force and magic is sealed within a gem that is the guardian of the Quadlings. As long as he stays within the Quadlings he is infinitely powerful and has eternal life. The gem also protects and maintains the Quadlings and all of the south which before Solomon became a wizard was an unlivable scorching desert. When Solomon leaves the Quadlings his magic and life force become significantly weaker the further away he travels. If the gem were to be removed, manipulated, or destroyed the Quadlings would revert to its former state and Solomon's life would be at stake.

Dorothy has been tasked with fulfilling a new prophecy for the land of Oz, and Norton does not wish to see this prophecy come to past. He feels Dorothy is too weak to be the chosen one. In Solomon's route, she is under Solomon's protection. In order to be able to defeat Solomon and steal Dorothy away until the time of the prophecy has passed, Norton steals Solomon's gem and encases it in holy water. The Quadlings becomes engulfed in scorching unbearable heat. Solomon, who is in the Emerald City at the time of the theft, and with his body in a weakened state he collapses at the steps to the castle. Betrayed by his own closest friend. :(

Prismacolor Pencils and Graphite.

The detail is amazing and the colors so vivid. Keep up the amazing work! I've been wanting to try Prismacolor pencils for a while now, but I couldn't find them in my country (or the shops were out of stock).
