OC Contest 2 - CLOSEDOC Contest 2: Goddess of Spring - The Rules

THEME: Draw Your Female Original Character(s) as a Goddess of Spring!

You can use any of your original characters as long as the character is female. The character can be humanoid or an animal/creature. Doesn't matter!

You can use a character you've already created, or you can create a new character for the contest!

You can have as many characters in your entry as you would like as long as the main subject of the entry is expressed as a Goddess of Spring and is the main focus of the image.

Backgrounds are not a requirement, but your picture must be completed! I will not accept sketches. The image needs to either be full color or if using black and white materials it must be fully shaded.

Your picture can be a headshot, waist up, knees up, full body, etc. Doesn't matter.

Please only submit digital and/or traditional drawings. No photo

What Do I Need To Do For My Entry?: Create a deviation with your original character(s) in a winter setting only using a red and blue palette. You can use blacks, whites, and grays. No other colors permitted.

CONTEST RULES
* Theme of this contest is SUNFLOWER(s) so all what you have to do is create a piece of artwork that shows at least one sunflower!
* It can be any kind of art! This is an All Media Contest, so use your imagination! Can be a drawing, painting, animation, photo, plushie, literature keychain, photomanipulation, 3dart or ANYTHING! Just remember about the theme!
* Keep in mind that using someone elses work in your enty (such as base or parts of photomanip or brushes etc) need to have all proper credit with links or icons in artists comments!

You are not allowed to use bases.
You may submit only one entry per month.
In order to enter please send us a note titled with the name of the month you are entering for and its theme.
Your entry must be a neat finished colored chibi drawing. Any media.

Can I Change Your Character's Hairstyle, Clothing, etc?: I do give creative liberty. The only thing I ask is that you do not change any of their physical attributes. This means you can change the clothes and the hairstyle. If you are unsure about something you'd like to do with your entry, simply ask and we can talk about it.

How Many Entries Can I Submit?: You can submit up to two entries! It gives you a better chance of winning if you do! But you can only win with one entry.

Does My Entry Have To Be In Color?: Yes, the picture must be in color. Can be digital or traditional.

Does My Entry Have To Be Full Body?: It can be a bust, full body, waist-up, whatever is easiest for you.

Can I Use Bases?: Yes, you may use bases. Just be sure they are your original bases or give credit to the person you got the base from. I don't accept bases that have been traced from other works/animes/etc without the original owner's permission. So please keep these things in mind if you choose to go this route.
